Using this site

Accessibility

I want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. This page explains what I've done, what I'm still working on and how to get help.

How this website is built to be accessible

This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means you should be able to:

  • move around the whole site using only a keyboard, with a clear outline showing where you are
  • use a screen reader, with a logical heading structure, a description for every image and labels on every form field and button
  • zoom in up to 200% without text or content being cut off
  • read text with strong colour contrast against its background
  • see a warning when a link opens in a new tab or opens a PDF
  • switch off motion, as the site follows the “reduce motion” setting on your phone or computer
  • skip straight to the main content using the “Skip to content” link

Display settings

You can change how this website looks to suit you. Your choices are saved on your device, so they stay in place next time you visit.

  • Larger text
  • Higher contrast
  • Easy-read font
  • Underlined links
  • Stop animations
  • Standard mouse cursor

You can also open display settings from the link at the bottom of every page.

What I’m still improving

My CV and portfolio PDFs are not yet fully accessible to screen readers. I’m updating them. In the meantime, I can send you the same information in another format.

Content in another format

If you need anything on this website in a different format, such as large print, plain text or a Word document, email hello@nisataj.com and I will send it to you, usually within two working days.

Tell me if something does not work

If you find a part of this website hard to use, I’d really like to know so I can fix it. Email hello@nisataj.com or call 07443 763656, and tell me the page and what happened. I reply within one working day.

How this was checked

I tested this website on desktop and mobile in October 2026, using a keyboard only and automated checks for colour contrast, headings, image descriptions and form labels. I review it whenever I make significant changes to the site.
