NearFi was a government-backed ed-tech start-up in Hyderabad, India. As Digital Marketing Assistant, I was one of the early team members responsible for building the brand from the ground up.

NearFi had no established brand identity, no social media presence, and needed to rapidly grow awareness and app installs in a competitive market.

Brand Building: Defined NearFi’s brand personality, tone of voice, and tagline from scratch — working closely with the founder to create a distinct identity.

Social Media Management: Built and managed all social channels, creating content calendars and producing engaging posts for the target audience.

Paid Campaigns: Managed Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads campaigns including retargeting strategies to drive app installs efficiently.

Influencer Marketing: Planned and executed influencer (affiliate) marketing campaigns and negotiated sponsorship collaborations with brands and events, delivering viral content.

UI/UX Support: Contributed ideas for new use-cases and gamification features to improve retention.

Results: Brand awareness increased by 30%. Social media following grew by 40%. App installs increased by 35%. Influencer collaborations contributed to a 15% uplift in installs. Monthly active users improved by 25%.
